We love our dogs and only want the best homes for them. We do everything we can to get the highest chances of strong and healthy puppies complying to the breed standards. Both parents are carefully selected on pedigree ancestry lines, health aspects and breed qualities in working tests, show and temperament.​​​
​​​Our dogs are health tested and the breeding is according the Flemish and Breeding Association agreement which will result in you getting a Flemish and FCI approved pedigree, a European passport and a standard agreement without surprises.
The puppies are raised in the home and socialized. Along with the pup we will give you a welcome pack including food so they can gradually transfer to your own choice of food, a scented item of their nest so they immediately feel at home, a typical retriever whistle and some other basics to have a great start. You will also receive a folder with all documentation and some guidance.

We don't breed for our dogs to end up at a shelter, so make sure you and your family are ready to take care of a dog for the coming 10-14 years. Getting a dog is a cost at point of buying as well as periodically (food, vaccinations, possible other veterinary visits, toys, snacks, ...) and has an impact on your day to day life and time schedule (walks, play time, training, ...). However, if you are certain you want a dog in your life, you will get the most loving companion in return!

Our breeding program has been set up with the greatest care for the breed with the aim of promoting genetic diversity and refining the typical Curly Coated Retriever breed characteristics, while preserving Akela's bloodline. Because we value quality over quantity and the wellbeing of our dogs, we plan our litters very carefully. Therefore there is not always a litter available.
